As you know, I have been preparing for some kind of catastrophic disaster for a long time. As a prepper, I was looked upon as a weirdo, or being paranoid and I have lost friends because of who I have become….. and then it happened.
China announced the Coronavirus to the world. I prayed about it and God said, “It is time”. I received his message and shared it with family and friends but the majority of them did not listen. They said “The virus won’t get here, it’s in China.” Or “It’s just the Flu.” We had to leave them behind. So many people believed this virus was not a big deal. Well, now they think differently and want to join us but we declined their request.
Anyway, I picked up the pace over the next couple of weeks to make sure I had what I needed. I grabbed my fur babies and prepared to leave. A family member contacted me to implement the plan to get out of the city. This was not a drill. After that phone call, we packed up the food, medical and other supplies and relocated to one of our BOL’s, (Bug Out Locations). We knew the virus was going to be big. We knew there was a possibility that the United States would follow the steps of China. We knew there was a possibility that we would have to shelter in place, be under a curfew, and the possibility of state border closures or a national lockdown. We did not want to be in the city during any of that mess so we headed for the countryside. Once on location, we assigned duties, discussed and made strategic decisions, sorted supplies and placed them in there designated areas. We established were the garden was going to be and planned to purchase chickens and more rabbits to breed. We are ready because we live for this experience. This family is prepared for as long as it takes.
This virus is a beast that is devouring the people of the world. The number of people who have died and are infected with this virus is incredible. Honestly, I think this is bigger than the virus. There is something in the horizon.
